How to complete the DEET Mandatory Reporting PD

The Department of Education requires that all teachers in Victorian schools complete a Mandatory Reporting PD (Training Module), every year. All school staff must complete this course every 12 months and can't work or volunteer in a school if they haven't. This includes Teachers, Support Staff, office staff and contractors. If you haven't completed it yet, please click here

This is the login page. You may already have a login but if not, you will need to create an account.

If you don't have a login click on Sign up.

After typing in your personal details fill in the dropdown boxes with the options above then click on 'Create My Account'.
You will be sent instructions on how to login.

Once you have signed in you will be taken to your homepage or click on 'Home' in the sidebar. The my Dashboard menu item will show all your completed modules and is where you can go to find your certificates for any completed modules.

Go to the Mandatory Reporting Module

There are a few different modules. Make sure you click on the correct module as above. You are welcome to complete any of the other modules you would like to and they will be counted towards your Professional Development hours with the VIT. Click here to view our blog regarding PD and how to log it with the VIT.

Click on 'Enter' on the above module

Then click on 'Enter' on the above module. This module is for Non-Government schools but it's the same test for Government schools so there is no need to complete both tests.

Enter the Mandatory Reporting Test

The Mandatory Reporting and Other Obligations learning module can be accessed as below.

Then click on 'Enter'

You will be taken to the module. Read through and answer the questions as you go.

Once you have completed the module, save the certificate as a pdf and send it to us - recruitment@yourteachingagency.com.au

If you don't download your certificate immediately after completing, go back to your dashboard to view and download it.

Please do not send us a link to your certificate as we won't be able to access it, we require a pdf which will look like the example below.
